Mantra Vol. 1 #11
May, 1994
Quote: "How quickly we learn. The first time I woke up in
this useless woman's body, after having been a man for 1500 years, my
first reaction was to cover its naked breasts. I suppose it started with
Eve. Now, that reaction's kicking in again." - Mantra

Story
Mantra battles the wives of Boneyard, who have stolen her mask, armor
and cloak. Mantra captures the wife wearing her mask and takes her home.
There, Eden is served with a motion to contest her custody of the children.
Later, Mantra releases the wife, Emalia, and interrogates her. Emalia
says that Archimage had originally given Mantra's uniform to the three
wives when they were married to him. When Boneyard forced Archimage to
retreat, Archimage took their wedding presents with him, leaving the wives
defenseless. Boneyard then took the wives for his own. Then, Emalia escapes,
but Matnra follows her to the other wives. Wanting the mask, Mantra is
forced to kill Emalia. But the mask transfers to another wife, and the
blood sacrifice allows Boneyard to come to Earth.
